BEOGRAD - The draft law on reducing the number of employees in public administration in which will be released 3400 government officials is "pushed" through the agreement only with the Association of Independent Unions of Serbia. President of UGS Independence Branislav Čanak there was a meeting because he was called just an hour and a half before its start, and the other unions were not invited to the negotiations.

Čanak for the Courier says Ljubisav Orbović, President of SSSS, agreement with the government "sold" UGS independence and its membership.

- The government has not given any response to our complaints. Orbović had the same attitude as we do about evaluation and told me not to go to the meeting because he insulted the way in which he was called. Then he left and agreed to the Government's proposal without consulting the membership. With which rights are sold and us, and their membership - said Čanak and announced initiation of proceedings against the Government and SSSS for illegal adoption of the proposal.

Dragan Marjanović, Secretary General of Confederation of Free Trade Unions, says the Courier that the Labor Law allows the government to be legitimate proposal to support only one union.
